Anna is personally committed to the lifelong journey of learning and healing. Her path to nature-based therapy is rooted in over 20 years of supporting teenagers as a Biology teacher and Outdoor Education coordinator. Through both her own experience and watching youth navigate life’s transitions while immersed in the elements taught her that the natural world is a powerful catalyst for human well-being and growth. Having spent much of her life outdoors, from her own adventures to leading groups kayaking, hiking, or biking, nature has always been her ultimate grounding force.
With a background in human physiology, she brings a solid understanding of nervous system regulation to her sessions, pairing clinical insight with a deep passion for the therapeutic potential of the wild. She believes that a meaningful connection with the outdoors anchors our mental well-being, expands our stress tolerance, and fosters lasting emotional resilience. Her approach is deeply person-centered and strengths-based, incorporating attachment, neuroscience, sand tray, and family systems.
Anna was born and raised in the Fraser Valley on the traditional territories of the Stó:lō people. She is incredibly grateful to be able to work on this land with nature as a gentle co-facilitator, inviting the natural environment to hold space for self-discovery and change.
Anna is a Certified Nature-based therapist, level 1.
